Message to President Obama

This isn’t the most popular thing to say, but it needs to be said.

  1. please dont tell me you mr piper wept for joy over this guy’s inauguration and subsequent taking of the office of the president of the united states. wept for joy? abortion as much as it absolutely is horrific is just the beginning of the death and destruction he has brought on this land because of his consistent run further from the principles of God’s heart. He would rather make this country vulnerable to the enemies of the Cross and make it harder to be a Christian by his hate crimes legislation and his constant undergirding, personally, of the gay marriage agenda. And many of us knew it going in and wept tears of sorrow at his inauguration. Every aspect of God’s word and God’s heart is being defiled on a daily basis. I applaud his desire to pour resources into the poor as well as desiring everyone to have healthcare. However, the poor, the broken, the lost - should’ve been the number one priority of the church. We should’ve been living out “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…” without question for the past 2000 years. Instead the church in America got hot for prosperity and started building megacies (megachurch legacies) all in the name of God just like we inserted “the name of God” into the Crusades and Slavery. The church has continally dropped the ball and like Israel’s waywardness, we are now reaping the reward of our selfishness. And this is the leader we get. Just like Israel receving kings that did evil in the sight of the Lord. The church is the answer not government, and when the church gets its head on straight and starts pouring out the love of Jesus it will fulfill all laws!

  2. Right On. Obamba said he will cut Health care cost. I believe him. I will probably be one of the first that he will say no more health care. I recently had Appendix surgery,Prostate Cancer surgery,Hernia surgery, next I need back surgery, I am Diabetic, the perscriptions are very expensive, and I am a 70 year old white male. It is ok with him to kill in cold blood 1,000,000 Children each year. It will be ok with him to kill by stopping expensive medical treatment 1,000,000 old people that no longer contribute to the welfare state. TRUST OBAMBA CHANGE IS COMING IN WHO GETS GOV HEALTH CARE.

  3. No matter how much we talk about reproductive rights and wrongs, the most unspoken issue of all is this: NO CHILD WOULD EXIST WITHOUT THE ACTIVE INITIATION OF ITS FATHER. The Bible makes it plain in many places that the man carries the seed and is held responsible by God for its safety, security and welfare. That is what makes a father a father. Abortion would be over tomorrow if men understood that they will be held accountable for every seed they sowed in life whether it was a one-night stand or not. Nothing they carry on their body is as powerful or awesome a responsibility as the power to bring life to a human being.

It is not now, nor has it ever been, a woman’s right to choose. That is a lie out of bitter hell. Before it ever gets to that woman, it was the choice of a man whether or not to bring that life to being. Only in a very few cases does the woman abort over the will of a man and even that is often a result of their perception of the man as an unfit father. The sexism in abortion is not about women’s right to choose….but about men’s God-given privilege of choosing. Nothing–not your money or your career or your giving—will bring the scrutiny of Heaven to bear like the issue of what you did with your seed! Babies do not spring out of thin air, and while you never hear a preacher preach this responsibility of men, it is (no matter how society chooses) still very much a MAN’S DUTY TO CONTROL HIMSELF THROUGH GODLINESS AND VIRTUE SO THAT HE CAN IN THE END FACE GOD WITHOUT FEAR OR REPROACH FOR THE SEED ENTRUSTED TO HIM.

If men would practice this one simple principle, it would eliminate not only abortion but also welfare and most of the crime in America.
What about it, men of America? Do you know where your seed sleeps tonight? Are they fed, clothed, housed or shivering hungry and cold somewhere? Or dead in a bucket in some abortion clinic?

America will prosper again when she talks about Responsibility rather than Rights, about Duty rather than Privilege, God’s ways rather than the Supreme Court’s. No matter who is President, we will not ultimately stand before him for Judgment but before the God of all the earth and life should be lived in light of that.

  4. Heard the passion in the speaker’s delivery. I am not for abortion, but my challenge to the Church is what are we willing to DO, not just preach about, to help someone who find themselves in this situation? How many people in your congregation would walk with someone who is pregnant who may be struggling with this issue and not be judgemental? Yes, President Obama is not God. I’m pretty sure he’ll be the first to admit this. So, let us pray for our leadership and for one another. Then let’s get up and DO something!
