Why recommend music?  Music which stirs the soul, coming alongside leading people to worship God, is as old as the relation of God to His people.  Our society is very focused on music (look at the popularity of the iPod) yet Christians seem to not be too interested in Christian music throughout the week.  Some are, but many listen to whatever throughout the week and only get involved in Christian-oriented music for those few songs/hymns on Sunday morning.  Anyway, let me stop this little sermon and say that here’s a CD which just came out today which I think is worth getting.  I’ve just listened to 30-second previews, but it seems like David Crowder has once again brought together a CD which is done in excellence and turns our focus to our Lord.
