Jeremy Cowart is an excellent photographer who does a lot of album cover art. His site contains a well-done photo-journey on the continent of Africa. The photos are sprinkled with inspirational quotes. I spent about a month in central Africa in 2001 and I’ve never been quite the same. It is truly an amazing place. Many people know pain there at a level which cannot be understood by most of us Americans who have never gone to bed hungry or seen many loved ones taken by Aids or Malaria. Throughout all of this, some African countries are just filled with passionate and joyful followers of Christ. I have seen some Africans pray in ways that make me feel like I’ve never quite understood the power of prayer. Anyway, I hope you find this link to encourage you to pray and act for our brothers and sisters in tough places.
