Redeeming Love

Redeeming Love is a modern-day version of Hosea and Gomer. After years of slavery during the California gold rush, Michael, a hard working, god-fearing young man will try to win the heart of Angel, a prostitute. His desire for her to understand God’s eternal love will not come easy to a young woman abused by the slave market of sex. His pursuit of her will leave you awe struck and her inability to grasp the full measure of it will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is one of those books you can’t put down!
Redeeming Love gives you a profound awareness to the reality of evil. It helps you see how people can be so hardened to its affects. This book takes you back to the love God alone can provide. It describes God’s pursuit for children and the power he has to restore. Although this may seem like a “girly read” I’d recommend it to everyone. If you want a deeper picture of God’s ultimate healing pick up Redeeming Love.

Francine Rivers is an amazing author and this book is wonderful. I could see the heart of so many, myself included as I read this book. Definitely worth the time to read!! Praise God for His redeeming love!!! Another exceptional Francine Rivers title is The Atonement Child. This covers abortion from every angle.

This book changed my view of God. I was “Angel” - everything she thought about herself, all the ways she tried to push away Michael’s love. That was me in my relationship with God. I was too dirty and there was no way He could love me. This book spoke directly to where I was at. Every time Michael spoke love over her when she fought him, it softened my heart a little.
