In Light of Eternity

C.S. Lewis said, “It is since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this one.” Randy Alcorn’s book, In Light of Eternity, paints a biblical picture of what heaven may be like.
This little 160 page book gives answers to questions you may never have thought to asked. Here are just a handful of the 25 different chapter titles: Will You Be Amazed; What Will We Be Like in Heaven; Will We Remember Our Lives on Earth; Treasures and Crowns; Second Chances and More Alive Than Ever Before.
If you are intrigued what paradise might be like, Randy Alcorn does a great job of painting a biblical picture. Alcorn has just come out with a much longer more academic book called Heaven. I have’nt had a chance to read this one yet. My dad is currently reading it and I think I’ll try to have it read by the end of the summer. If you haven’t read this little book yet, I’d recommend reading it before going through Heaven. I think this book will serve as a fun introduction to Heaven.

Alcorn also has a great book called Heaven for Kids, which is his Heaven book in a Q&A format that’s fun for kids. Since I’m actually a kid stuck in an adult body, I love it!
